Don’t ever give up on your health!!! Just because you fell down once doesn’t mean you can’t get up, dust yourself off and get back to work! Healthy is a lifestyle, not a short-term, means to an end!

What’s the Big Deal with Egg Yolks Anyway?
“Egg yolks actually contain all the healthy, fatty acids that are contained within the egg. It is a nucleus of wholesome goodness that supplied our ancestors with their sustenance since before they were upright. When you strip away the egg yolk and eat only the white, you’re completely missing out on the benefits of those fatty acids like the Omega-3 fats.
Egg yolks also contain over 80% of the overall vitamins and minerals that can be found within the egg as a whole. The facts point to the conclusion that the egg should be consumed without division. In the process of eliminating the cholesterol intake by shedding the egg yolks, you’re losing the majority of the vitamins and minerals such as: Iron, Potassium, Folate, Selenium, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin B, Vitamin D, Biotin, and Choline.
There is a line dividing many people about whether egg yolks are safe to eat, mainly due to the issues with cholesterol. The fact remains that the bulk of the nutrition in an egg comes from the yolk (including 1/5 of the total protein). Logic would dictate that if you are a person who has an issue with cholesterol, you shouldn’t eat eggs on a constant basis, but when you do you should eat the whole thing.
The issue of cholesterol is completely negligible and recent studies such as those performed by the University of Science have proven that other nutrients within the egg yolks can actually help the body manage the cholesterol intake. Vitamin B (particularly Riboflavin) has been known to aid in lowering cholesterol levels and the Lecithin within the egg prevents much of the cholesterol from even being absorbed within your digestive tract. There have also been some preliminary research done into the antioxidant Lutien which may reduce inflammation in the body, which is a much more deadly problem in the heart disease battle.”

cakerage replied to your post: So while I am extremely flexible, I don’t really know much about Yoga.

Should Invest In yoga dvds. It’s easy to do at home. That’s what I do.

That’s the silly part. I’ve tried doing videos from Youtube, DVD’s, everything… For some reason, I just can’t keep up with them. I’ve found like graphic charts with Yoga poses and stuff, and they’ve always been really easy for me for some reason but I suck with DVD’s.

I’m weird. :-/

Everyone Is different. It doesn’t make you weird. Perhaps you are just more anxious than you realize. I use one of Suzanne Deasons yoga videos It has her and three other women for modified yoga poses for different levels of joint/body tightness. With well explained step by step of what It Is you need to be doing. You might like her, but Just if you decided to give it a shot again. Otherwise you can start by trying to not be so anxious and do some of the poses from the chart, but you really have to be clear minded or else you won’t feel quite as good/relaxed as you can. I can give you more info/pointers on this later. I am kind of.. meh right now and want to lay down but i promise ill talk to you more about it later or if you have questions, absolutely feel free to ask.

Thank you for that information, I’ll check her out. :) As for you being meh right now, you can always talk to me if you want to.. I’m the same currently and doing the same thing, but my ask box is open if you want to leave anything and you can text me. Love you sweetheart <3

I like intervals so much better than just straight running.  My mind is occupied by when it’s time to slow down or when it’s time to run.. so I’m not constantly thinking, “wow this sucks” lol

I love it! I personally find it way easier because it has alot of variation and 20 minutes feel like a short time instead of ages! :)

Run, Zombies!

jamiesfitbook:

Protect your brain and run for your life. This is one race where your legs giving out are the least of your problems. Run For Your Lives is a first-of-its-kind event, one part 5K, one part obstacle course, one part escaping the clutches of zombies — and all parts awesome.
Run For Your Lives!

How awesome is this?! Zombies scare me a lot, but I would totally train for a 5K like this!

"Doubt fucks everything. Take a foundation, no matter how strong, sprinkle generously with doubt, and watch it crumble. Me? I’m unfuckwithable. Not this knee, not bad weather, and certainly not the many men that wish bad intentions on me can stop me. I rise up, not like a phoenix, but like the zombie corpse of Dick Murdoch."
